- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the seasoned chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In the same skillet, mix the chicken broth and softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Place the seared chicken in a greased baking dish and pour the sauce over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in herbs and spices beforehand. You can also add sautéed vegetables to the sauce for more nutrition.
