Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the orange zest and vanilla extract to the butter and sugar mixture.
- Gradually mix in the flour and salt, blending until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped cranberries until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Chill the dough for about 30 minutes to make it easier to work with.
- Roll out the chilled dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
- Cut out shapes using cookie cutters and place them onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
