- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the chilled butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the dried cranberries and orange zest.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the orange juice, egg, and vanilla extract together.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times.
- Pat the dough into a round, about 1-inch thick. Cut into wedges and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
