Description

A delightful dish combining crispy bacon and tender green beans in a sticky, tangy glaze, perfect for gatherings or holiday meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans Canned French-style green beans, drained
  • 6 slices Bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Let it cool and crumble into pieces.
  3. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, melted butter, soy sauce, and garlic powder, mixing until slightly thickened.
  4. In a baking dish, layer the drained green beans and top with crumbled bacon.
  5. Pour the buttery glaze over the top, coating everything evenly.
  6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until bubbly and slightly caramelized on top.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute turkey bacon or coconut aminos instead of soy sauce. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a kick.
