- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 4 slices bacon
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne according to package instructions (9-11 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and chop.
- In the same skillet, cook the diced chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and chicken broth to the chicken, stirring until smooth.
- Combine cooked penne with the sauce, mixing well to coat.
- Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Stir in chopped bacon.
- Serve warm, garnished with green onions.
Notes
For a creamier sauce, add more cream cheese or chicken broth. Customize by adding vegetables or trying different cheeses.
