Description

The ultimate breakfast dish with layers of crispy bacon, creamy cheese, and hearty hash browns baked in a fluffy egg custard.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 lb crispy bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 package (30 oz) frozen hash browns
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Layer the frozen hash browns evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and shredded cheese over the hash brown layer.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the entire casserole until all components are covered.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Garnish with green onions or sour cream; serve with fresh fruit or salad. Leftovers can be stored for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or up to 2 months in the freezer.
