  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped (optional but recommended)
  • Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tablespoons)
  • ½ cup chicken broth (or water for a lighter option)
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season generously with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the chicken and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, add softened butter to the skillet. Let it melt, then stir in minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add Dijon mustard, red pepper flakes, parsley, and dill.
  5. Stir in lemon juice, chicken broth, and heavy cream, simmering gently for about 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  6. Return chicken to skillet, ensure coated with sauce, cover, and cook for another 8-10 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Garnish with additional parsley before serving.
