Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, soak the breadcrumbs in milk for about 10 minutes to absorb moisture.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped basil, salt, pepper, and beaten egg.
- Mix all the ingredients together until just combined; don’t overmix to keep them tender.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, ideally about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and beautifully browned.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the mixture or substituting breadcrumbs with gluten-free options for dietary needs.
