Description

  • 1 container (8 ounces) Cool Whip
  • 1 can cherry pie filling (21 ounces)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (if you prefer a warm crust).
  2. In a mixing bowl, melt the unsalted butter and combine it with graham cracker crumbs and granulated sugar. Mix well to create a crumbly texture.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a dish to form your crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  4. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  5. Fold in the Cool Whip gently to maintain its fluffy texture.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
  7. Top with cherry pie filling, spreading it gently across the cream layer.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving so the layers set nicely.

Notes

For a fresher taste, you can substitute Cool Whip with homemade whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days.
