Description
Deliciously sweet and crunchy banana chips made in an air fryer with a delightful cinnamon-sugar coating.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 medium ripe bananas
- 1 tablespoon coconut sugar or brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Cooking spray (optional)
Instructions
- Peel the bananas and slice them into even rounds—about 1/8 inch thick.
- Preheat your air fryer to 330°F (165°C) and optionally spray the basket with cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, combine coconut or brown sugar with cinnamon and set it aside.
- Toss the banana slices with the cinnamon-sugar mixture until lightly coated.
- Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overlap.
- Air fry for 10 to 14 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Allow the chips to cool on a wire rack for 5 to 10 minutes to become even crispier.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for best freshness. For crispiness, reheat in the air fryer for a minute if needed.
