- ΒΌ cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs

- Β½ cup brown sugar (packed)
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- ΒΌ cup butter, softened
- For the icing:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Β½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine the warm milk and softened butter. Slowly add this mixture to the dry ingredients. Mix until it forms a sticky dough.
- Add the eggs and the remaining flour, one cup at a time, until the dough starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
- While the dough is rising, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle about Β½ inch thick.
- Spread the softened butter over the dough, leaving a small edge around the sides. Sprinkle the cinnamon and brown sugar mixture evenly over the butter.
- Starting from one long side, roll the dough tightly into a log. Pinch the edges to seal.
- Cut the rolled dough into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish, cut side up.
- Cover the rolls with a cloth and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- Bake the rolls for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- While the rolls are baking, prepare the icing by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Once the rolls are out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes, then drizzle the icing over the top. Serve warm!
