- 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Cut the cinnamon rolls into bite-sized cubes. Spread them evenly in the greased dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces, ensuring they are all coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
- While it’s baking, prepare the icing by whisking together powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth.
- Once baked, drizzle the icing over the warm casserole and serve immediately.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. You can also add nuts or chocolate chips for added flavor.
