  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  3. Cut the cinnamon rolls into bite-sized cubes. Spread them evenly in the greased dish.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces, ensuring they are all coated.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
  7. While it’s baking, prepare the icing by whisking together powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth.
  8. Once baked, drizzle the icing over the warm casserole and serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. You can also add nuts or chocolate chips for added flavor.
