Description

Delightful Churros Sticks with a crispy exterior and soft interior, perfect for dipping in chocolate sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Sugar for coating
  • Optional: cinnamon for coating
  • Chocolate sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the water, salt, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add the flour and stir until the dough is smooth.
  3. Let the dough cool slightly, then pipe it into a piping bag with a star nozzle.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat, pipe strips of dough into the oil.
  5. Fry churros until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and roll in sugar (and cinnamon if desired).
  7. Serve warm with chocolate sauce or preferred dips.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature, best consumed on the same day.
