Instructions
- Prepare the Base: In a bowl, combine the crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill in the refrigerator while you prepare the mousse.
- Make the Mousse: In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until it reaches soft peaks. In another bowl, blend the cream cheese (or yogurt) with sugar and melted chocolate until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream until fully incorporated. Spread this mousse over the cookie base and refrigerate.
- Cook the Orange Glaze: In a small saucepan, whisk together the fresh orange juice, honey, and cornstarch over medium heat. Stir until the mixture thickens, then let it cool slightly. Pour this luscious glaze over the set mousse layer.
- Assemble and Garnish: Once the glaze has set, top your dessert with fresh orange slices or zest for a beautiful presentation.
