- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine cocoa powder, flour, and granulated sugar.
- Stir in the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set.
- While the brownies cool, melt the chopped chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, stirring continuously until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the melted chocolate until everything is nicely combined.
- Spread the mousse layer generously over the cooled brownies.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the mousse to set.
- For an extra touch, you can top with a chocolate ganache before serving.
