Description

A delightful no-bake dessert that layers chocolate, cream cheese, and Oreos for a crowd-pleasing treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies (for the crust)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (to bind the crust)
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened (for the filling)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (to sweeten the filling)
  • 2 cups chocolate pudding mix (for that rich chocolate layer)
  • 4 cups milk (to prepare the pudding)
  • 1 (12 oz) container Cool Whip (for the topping)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies until fine. Combine with the melted butter and press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan to form the crust.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until completely smooth. Spread this mixture evenly over the Oreo crust.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until the mixture thickens. Spread this layer over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Top it all off by spreading the Cool Whip over the chocolate pudding layer.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes, or until set, before serving.

Notes

For variations, consider adding a layer of peanut butter or using gluten-free cookies.
