Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well blended.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add these dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies have set.
