- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter, then stir in the sugar until fully combined.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Evenly arrange the sliced strawberries over the brownie layer, followed by pouring the remaining batter on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan.
- For the chocolate ganache, heat the cream in a saucepan until just simmering. Pour it over the chocolate chips in a bowl, let it sit for a few minutes, then stir until smooth.
- Pour the ganache over the cooled brownies and spread it evenly.
- Allow the ganache to set before cutting into squares and serving.

Serve slightly warm or at room temperature; pair with vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of extra chocolate sauce.
