Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups cabbage, chopped (green or Napa)
- 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced (or button mushrooms)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce (low-sodium)
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, stir-frying until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Introduce the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
- Stir in the shiitake mushrooms and cook until tender.
- Add chopped cabbage and stir-fry for a few minutes until it wilts.
- Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, mixing everything well.
- Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
Serve over steamed jasmine rice or cauliflower rice. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
