  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Gluten-Free (with substitutions)

Description

A timeless comfort food featuring tender chicken and buttery noodles, enhanced with aromatic garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, add them to the skillet, and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes on each side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth, bring to a simmer, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing them in the sauce to coat evenly.
  7. Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in garlic and herbs before cooking. A dash of lemon juice can brighten the dish, while a splash of heavy cream can add creaminess.
