Instructions

  5. Slowly add the chicken broth, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  6. Add the diced chicken and Cajun seasoning. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  7. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve the Chicken Étouffée over cooked white rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
