- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing seasoning mix
Instructions
- In a large skillet over low heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy. Set aside, reserving drippings.
- Slice chicken breasts, season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Sear in reserved drippings over medium-high heat until golden brown, then let rest and cube.
- In a separate pot, cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for one minute. Stir in flour to form a roux, then gradually add half-and-half, stirring until thickened. Mix in ranch seasoning and shredded cheese until smooth.
- Combine cooked pasta and cubed chicken into the creamy sauce, tossing to combine. Garnish with crispy bacon before serving warm.

For a leaner option, use turkey bacon or whole wheat pasta. Add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrients.
