Indulge in creamy Chicken Alfredo served in crispy, buttery bread bowls for a delightful twist on a classic dish.


Ingredients

  • 3 pieces of chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 pound of pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 6 Kaiser rolls (or more if needed)
  • 1 jar Alfredo sauce (about 15 oz)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 34 teaspoons garlic and herb seasoning
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the cubed chicken with garlic and herb seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes or until fully cooked.
  3. Meanwhile, boil salted water in a pot and cook the pasta until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
  4. Carefully slice the tops off the Kaiser rolls and hollow out the centers to create bowls.
  5. Combine the melted butter with garlic and herb seasoning, then brush this mixture inside and around the edges of your bread bowls.
  6. Bake the bowls in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 4-5 minutes until lightly toasted.
  7. In a large bowl, mix the drained pasta with the cooked chicken and Alfredo sauce until well combined.
  8. Fill the toasted bread bowls with the chicken Alfredo mixture and top with shredded Parmesan.
  9. Return the filled bowls to the oven for another 4-5 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt and the bread to become crispy.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

Best paired with a light side salad or steamed vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
