Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread Bowls

Description

A delicious twist on classic Chicken Alfredo served in crispy garlic bread bowls.


Ingredients

  • 3 pieces Chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 pound Pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 6 pieces Kaiser rolls (or more if needed)
  • 1 jar Alfredo sauce (about 15 oz)
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 34 teaspoons Garlic and herb seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken cubes with garlic and herb seasoning, salt, and pepper. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook your desired pasta until al dente. Drain well.
  4. Slice the tops off the Kaiser rolls and hollow out the centers gently to create bowls.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with the garlic and herb seasoning. Brush this mixture on the inside and edges of the bread bowls.
  6. Place the hollowed rolls in the oven for 4-5 minutes until lightly toasted.
  7. In the skillet, mix the drained pasta and Alfredo sauce with the cooked chicken. Stir until well combined.
  8. Fill each toasted bread bowl with the chicken Alfredo mixture and sprinkle shredded parmesan on top.
  9. Return the filled bowls to the oven for another 4-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

Store leftover filling and bread bowls separately in airtight containers. The chicken and pasta can be kept for up to 3-4 days, while the bread bowls should be consumed within 1-2 days for the best texture.
