Description

Delicious Cheesy Taco Sticks made with seasoned ground beef and melty cheese wrapped in buttery crescent roll crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • Cooking spray
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the crescent roll dough package instructions.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning as per the packet instructions.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate each triangle.
  5. Place a spoonful of beef mix and some shredded cheese on each triangle.
  6. Roll the dough around the filling starting at the wider edge and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with chosen toppings.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, swap meat for refried beans. Add diced jalapeños for extra kick.
