An easy and delicious one-pan meal that combines taco flavors with rice and cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 can of beans (black or pinto)
- 1 cup corn (frozen or canned)
- 2 cups ready rice (instant or precooked)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: sliced tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, cilantro
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the lean ground beef over medium heat until cooked through and drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning, drained beans, corn, and water, then bring to a simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Mix in the ready rice until everything is well combined.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top, cover the skillet, and let it melt for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve hot, adding your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a spicier dish, add diced jalapeños or cayenne pepper. Experiment with different cheeses for varied flavors.
