- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan until evenly mixed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs with salt and pepper.
- Form the cheese mixture into golf ball-sized bites.
- Dip each cheese bite into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated, and then roll in the panko breadcrumbs.
- Place the coated bites on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
Notes
Serve warm with marinara sauce or spicy aioli. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
