- 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, warm olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until soft and fragrant.
- Introduce the ground beef to the skillet, cooking it until browned. Season generously with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes. Top it with the cooked beef mixture and half of the shredded cheese.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with the remaining potatoes on top.
- Carefully pour the beef broth over the entire casserole and cover it tightly with foil.
- Bake for 45 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbling.
- Allow the casserole to cool slightly before serving.
