Description
A quick and indulgent meal featuring creamy cheese and garlic, perfect for any busy night.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for topping)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain, reserving about ½ cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden brown.
- Lower the heat and mix in the grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella. Stir until cheeses melt and form a creamy sauce, adding reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.
- Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet, ensuring it’s well coated with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Plate your pasta and garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan.
Notes
For different flavors, feel free to swap cheeses or add proteins like chicken and shrimp.
