Description

Delicious and quick Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps that combine creamy cheese and shredded chicken, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 large tortillas or wraps
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, minced garlic, and half of the shredded cheese. Stir well, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Lay out the tortillas and divide the chicken mixture evenly among them. Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  3. Roll up the tortillas tightly, making sure to fold in the ends to keep the filling secure.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt a little butter.
  5. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Once done, remove from heat, slice in half, and sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use well-flavored chicken, such as roast chicken. You can also customize with different herbs, spices, and vegetables.
