Description

Delightful taquitos filled with creamy cheeses, succulent crab, and shrimp, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked crab meat
  • 1/2 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1/4 cup diced green onions
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crab meat, chopped shrimp, diced green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy and well-combined.
  2. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until they’re soft and pliable.
  3. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the creamy filling onto each tortilla, roll tightly, and secure with a toothpick if necessary.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot. Once hot, fry the taquitos in batches for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Serve with fresh salsa, guacamole, or sour cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
