Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

  • 1 cup milk or cream

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until translucent.
  2. Add ground beef, cooking until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add diced Yukon Gold potatoes and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
  4. Stir in milk or cream and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
