Description

Mini cheeseburgers packed with classic flavors, perfect for gatherings and quick snacks.


Ingredients

  • 2 lb lean ground beef (90/10 or 93/7 recommended)
  • 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 large yellow onion (finely diced)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 slices medium cheddar cheese
  • 6 oz medium cheddar cheese (shredded or more sliced cheese)
  • 24 dinner rolls (or 2 packs of 12)
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter (melted, plus more for greasing)
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F and butter the bottom of a rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1/2 Tbsp of olive oil. Add the finely diced onion, sautéing until soft. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until browned.
  3. Draining Fat: Tilt the skillet and spoon off excess fat before stirring in the mayonnaise.
  4. Assemble the Sliders: Cut the dinner rolls in half and place the bottom halves on the baking sheet. Lay down cheese slices, followed by the beef mixture. Top with shredded cheddar.
  5. Top and Bake: Place the top halves of the rolls, cut-side down, over the sliders. Brush with melted butter, sprinkle sesame seeds, and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Serve with ketchup, mustard, pickles, and side options like fries or salad.
