Description

A crispy, sweet, and savory side dish made with roasted Brussels sprouts, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450 g) Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts, remove any wilted outer leaves, and slice them in half.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, maple syrup (or honey), soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the halved Brussels sprouts to the bowl with the glaze and toss until well coated.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the Brussels sprouts cut-side down in a single layer.
  6. Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Transfer to a serving dish and drizzle with more glaze if desired; serve hot.

Notes

For best results, do not crowd the baking sheet and consider adding spices or nuts for extra flavor and texture.
