- 6 strips of bacon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
Instructions

- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until it’s halfway done, flexible but not fully crispy.
- Remove the bacon and drain excess fat on a paper towel.
- In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper until well combined.
- Arrange the crackers on the prepared baking sheet and top each cracker with a piece of the partially cooked bacon.

- Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and caramelized.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute regular bacon for turkey bacon and use gluten-free crackers if needed. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
