A comforting pasta dish featuring a creamy Cajun alfredo sauce and spiced ground beef, perfect for weeknight meals or family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 package cream cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Prepare the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Brown the Ground Beef: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat, and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, draining any excess fat if needed.
- Add the Cajun Spice: Stir in the Cajun seasoning and cook for another minute to toast the spices slightly.
- Incorporate Cream Cheese: Lower the heat and add in the cream cheese, stirring until it melted and completely integrated with the beef.
- Make the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Combine with Pasta: Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together to ensure the pasta is well-coated in the creamy sauce.
- Garnish and Serve: Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley.
