Description
A comforting Cajun-inspired dish with tender beef and spaghetti enveloped in a creamy, cheesy sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 400g spaghetti
- 450g diced sirloin or ribeye steak
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 100g cream cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Toss the diced beef with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
- In a hot skillet, melt the butter. Add the beef and sear it until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute or until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, followed by the cream cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Stir continuously until the sauce is smooth and the cheeses are fully melted.
- Once the sauce is ready, return the beef and spaghetti to the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta evenly in the sauce.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot, with extra Parmesan and Cajun spice if desired.
