Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, heat honey over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it becomes dark and caramelized.
- Gradually stir in the heavy cream until combined. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, corn starch, salt, and vanilla. Slowly add the caramelized honey mixture, whisking until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the pre-baked pie crust.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the filling is set and slightly puffed.
- Allow the pie to cool, then sprinkle with sea salt before serving.
