- 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese (Cut into cubes)
- 6 slices Cooked Bacon (Crumble before use)
- 1 lb Ground Chicken (Substitute with ground turkey or lean beef if desired)
- 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce (Adjust for spice preference)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 cup Plain Flour
- 2 large Eggs (Beaten)
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Regular for extra crunch)
- 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil (For frying)
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground chicken over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, Buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Create a simple dough by mixing flour with the beaten eggs until smooth.
- Take a portion of the chicken mixture, add a cube of mozzarella and some crumbled bacon, then wrap the dough around it, sealing well.
- Roll each bomb in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- In a deep pan, heat your vegetable or canola oil until hot but not smoking.
- Carefully drop a few bombs into the oil at a time, frying until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per bomb.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
