  • 12 oz semisweet chocolate chips
  • 11.5 oz milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the Base: Cream together the softened butter and creamy peanut butter until silky smooth.
  3. Add Flavor: Incorporate the vanilla extract and sea salt, mixing until well combined.
  4. Add the Sugar: Gradually add the powdered sugar in 1/3 cup increments, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Shape the Dough: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls.
  6. Chill the Balls: Insert a toothpick into each ball and refrigerate for 15 minutes to an hour.
  7. Melt the Chocolate: Melt the semisweet and milk chocolate chips with the coconut oil.
  8. Dip the Balls: Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, covering about 80%.
  9. Set the Buckeyes: Place on the baking sheet and let cool until the chocolate is set.
  10. Final Touch: Remove toothpicks and smooth over holes with your finger.
