- For the glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar and softened butter until smooth.
- Beat in the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to wire racks to cool completely.
- For the maple glaze, mix together powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk in a small bowl until smooth and drizzle over cookies.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Cookies can also be frozen for longer storage.
