Ingredients

  • For the glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar and softened butter until smooth.
  3. Beat in the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to wire racks to cool completely.
  9. For the maple glaze, mix together powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk in a small bowl until smooth and drizzle over cookies.
