Description

Delicious bite-sized mini smoked sausages wrapped in crispy bacon and coated with caramelized brown sugar, perfect for parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Little Smokies (mini smoked sausages)
  • 1 package regular-cut bacon (cut in half)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • Black pepper (optional, for an extra kick)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. Cut your bacon slices in half.
  3. Wrap each Little Smokie with a half slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick.
  4. Place the brown sugar into a zip-top bag, add the bacon-wrapped sausages, and gently shake to coat.
  5. Arrange on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, optionally sprinkling leftover brown sugar and black pepper on top.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until crispy and caramelized.
  7. For an extra crispy finish, broil for 1-2 minutes, watching closely.
