- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour an 8-inch square baking pan for easy removal.
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- In a larger bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the milk and vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the fresh blueberries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving.
