  • 1 cup Cold Water or Beer
  • Oil for Frying
  • Creamy Dipping Sauce: Mayonnaise, Sour Cream, and seasonings

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mini onions by peeling and cutting the tops off.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. <li Gradually add the cold water or beer, mixing until the batter reaches a thick consistency.

  4. Dip each onion into the batter, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.
  5. In a deep fryer or skillet, heat the oil to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the battered onions in batches until they turn golden and crispy, about 3-5 minutes.
  7. Once cooked, remove the onions and drain them on paper towels.
