Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef (96/4)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tsp. yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 1/3 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup ketchup

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, spray with nonstick spray. Add ground beef and chopped onions, cooking until the beef is fully browned.
  2. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and yellow mustard. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together light mayonnaise, ketchup, chopped pickles, and pickle juice until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Start with a base of shredded iceberg lettuce, then layer on the beef mixture. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, chopped onions, tomatoes, and extra pickles as desired.

Notes

Use lean beef for a lighter dish. Mix up toppings according to your preferences.
