  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons flour (optional, for thickening)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the beef tips and allow them to brown on all sides, creating a delicious crust.
  3. Toss in the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent.
  4. Mix in the minced garlic and cook for another minute, stirring to combine.
  5. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are tender.
  6. Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, cover, and let it cook for 90 minutes to 120 minutes, or until the beef is melt-in-your-mouth tender.
  8. If you prefer a thicker gravy, create a slurry with the flour and a bit of water, then stir it into the gravy. Cook for an additional 10 minutes until thickened.
  9. Serve hot over rice or mashed potatoes.
