Description

Delightful crab and cheese bites baked to golden perfection, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for greasing the baking sheet

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, lemon juice, and chopped green onions. Mix until well-blended.
  3. Gently fold the lump crab meat into the mixture, ensuring not to break it up too much. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Shape the crab mixture into small balls, rolling them in breadcrumbs until evenly coated.
  5. Place the crab bombs on a greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. For a healthier option, swap breadcrumbs for crushed almonds or panko.
