  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Omnivore

Description

A delightful one-pot meal combining creamy Alfredo sauce, fettuccine, savory bacon, and seasoned ground beef, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 6 strips of bacon, chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine as per package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove it, but keep the drippings in the pan.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Toss in minced garlic, along with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in both cheddar and Parmesan cheese until melted and combined, forming a creamy sauce.
  5. Toss in the cooked fettuccine and bacon, coating everything generously with the sauce.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley to add a refreshing pop before serving.

Notes

This dish is versatile; feel free to substitute with lighter cream or turkey bacon for a healthier version. Add sautéed mushrooms or jalapeños for more flavor.
