- 200g spaghetti or fettuccine
- 150g bacon, diced
- 2 large eggs
- 100ml heavy cream
- 50g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti or fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Retain drippings for flavor.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
- Toss the drained pasta in the skillet with the crispy bacon.
- Remove the skillet from heat and quickly pour the egg and cream mixture over the pasta, tossing continuously to create a creamy sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
For an even creamier sauce, add an extra splash of heavy cream when mixing in the egg mixture. Remove the pasta from the heat before adding the egg mixture to prevent scrambling.
