- 1 can (8-count) refrigerated cinnamon rolls
- 21 ounces canned apple pie filling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease 8 cups of a muffin pan.
- Separate the cinnamon roll dough and place each section into the greased muffin tin cups, pressing down to form a base.
- Add approximately 2 tablespoons of apple pie filling on top of each rolled base.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed up.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls over the top before serving.
Notes
For a homemade filling, use fresh apples cooked with sugar and cinnamon. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
